I am committed to living my life in accordance with the fifteen commitments of conscious leadership.
These commitments help me live a life of presence, openness, and curiosity. I’ve found this way of living to be transformative both personally and professionally.
The commitments that have had the biggest impact on my life are:
Taking Full Responsibility
I am committed to taking full responsibility for the results of my life. That means I do not blame anyone or anything for what’s happening in my life. I am the creator of my experience.
Being Candid
I am committed to saying what is true for me. This includes revealing any meaningful facts thoughts, feelings, or body sensations that might be relevant to my relationships.
Sourcing My Core Wants from Within Myself
I am committed to sourcing my three core wants — approval, control, and security — from within myself. Other individuals, circumstances, and conditions are not the cause of my wanting.
Seeing Everything as an Ally
I am committed to seeing all people and circumstances as allies that have perfectly organized themselves to help me learn and grow. Especially the most adversarial ones.
